| Kitiwec The Kitiwek is named after a very fast and agile seagull. It was designed by L. Bourdon for an expedition from North Cape to Douarnenez. Ideally suited for a medium to small paddler looking for a very stable yet technical kayak to play with on the waves or take on small load carrying expeditions. The kitiwek has very graceful lines. Sitting low on the water this flat bottomed well swept kayak is quick and agile and copes well with heavy seas and high winds. With skeg up it is a very playful kayak capable of spins and when down excellent for trecking. The Kitiweks very unusual design blending good stability with technical qualities makes this kayak unusually appreciated by both beginners and experts alike ! |
